Moving in the direction of our dreams!!!
I love the picture that was chosen for this blog post. As usual, because I am blind, my daughter found this picture and described it to me. This lovely scene appeals to how I am feeling right now--peaceful and serene! My husband and I have been looking at options for the next six months. Our current lease on our "too big" rental house was coming up for renewal and the easy choice was to extend the lease and stay. This choice did not appeal to me in the least! The more sick I become with Sarcoidosis issues, the more determined I became to live more of an authentic life! Praise God! When I explained to my husband what I really wanted to do, he actually listened! It was actually my husband who put the important pieces of the puzzle together and as of the month of September, we will be moving in the direction of our dreams!! At least, it is my dream with Mike and Alexis coming on board as well! I can sense that this is going to be a really wonderful move for the whole family! New neighborhood--new start--living with the bare essentials! We took a drive around the area on Sunday and was very pleasantly surprised at what we found! There is a lake on site and many opportunities for outdoorsy activities. We plan to take this opportunity to eat healthier, be more active, and enjoy more fresh air!
I am so excited to make this announcement on my blog that as of September 2013, we will be "full-timers"!! This means that we will finally be living in the little house that we purchased a year and a half ago! When we purchased it, we felt as if it were "God thing"! A lot of doors shut for us, but Mike prayed that the right one would open, and it did! He found a truly beautiful, wooded, serene campground only an hour from work (since, for now, he is tied to his desk). We will be saving a lot of money from our current lease payment and will use that to pay off the bills more quickly so that we can bring Mike home part time. We've even talked about buying a bicycle built for two, so that I can once again feel the joy of bicycling! :)

Countdown to October...
OK, so the picture above is from Google Images, and not one that my family has personally taken, but hopefully that will change in the near future!!
Countdown to October means that our little family of three is planning to spend this Fall making memories together in the Arizona Desert!!! We have been keeping up with many RV blogs and kind of living through them and their lives on the road. Hubby is slowly coming around! In fact, he has been dreaming of Hawaiian Shirts and camping hats, clothing that is not allowed on the dress code at his job! Love it!! I keep telling him that I'm going to "Hippie Him Up"! This may be hard to imagine, since he is a Mechanical Engineer, but I am determined! :)
We are continuing to downsize all of our possessions. This past week, we were finally able to get some of my Daughter Melissa's belongings to her, including her heavy dresser. Hubby and my Brother, Don, also moved a bed, chest, and chair for my Sister Sherry who just moved into an apartment.
Although I have had my wheelchair around for awhile now, and have been enjoying it when I'm tired, today we've discovered that I can no longer get around on my own steam. Looks like from here out, I am wheelchair dependant--in addition to being Blind! My bright spot is concentrating on going Full-Time RVing and making lots of great memories for our family!!
Just want to give a shoutout to RV Sue and her Canine Crew. In case she reads this, our family LOVES to read your blog and hear of your adventures. And to be honest, I really hope to get to meet you someday!! To all the RV Dreamers out there, if you want to read a really great RV Travel blog, check RV Sue out! You won't be disappointed! :)

♪I've got a peaceful easy feeling...♫
As we welcome the New Year, 2012 finds our family of three under the weather! Mike and Alexis have a rotten bout of Bronchitis and I (Robin) have a Sarcoidosis flare, including Pleurisy in my right lung, and pain in my right kidney (kidney disease), with fever. This too shall pass! With everything that we are dealing with in addition to attempting to pare down our belongings, and find homes for our rescued animals, we are indeed a little frazzeled! Hubby had plans for so many jobs and activities for this Christmas Holiday while he was off from work, but unfourtunately he has been very ill since Christmas.
However, on the bright side, we as a family have been able to keep up with alot of blogs we enjoy. Anyone that knows me is probably aware of my dream of Full-Time RVing. I have been in love with this idea for the past six years. Reading others tales of their RVing adventures brings about a peaceful easy feeling for me. One my personal favorite RV Blogs is RV Sue and her Canine Crew. We have been reading her from the begining (April 2011), as she was getting ready to leave Georgia and head west! Hubbys favorite blog is TRAVEL WITH THE BAYFIELD BUNCH:)). They are a Canadian couple traveling in the Southwest United States. We read and follow some other really great blogs, whether travel oriented or not.
I am currently writing a book while basically home-bound most of the time and these blogs give me the free-spirited feeling that I need to continue on. For now, I am an armchair traveler, but am Praying that it will change someday soon. Praying that Daddy will come around to Mama's way of thinkin'!! :)

I like dreamin'...
Yes, I do like dreaming! I am an RV wanna-be and have been looking into this seriously for at least the last 5 years! For now, I live through other peoples adventures found in their RV Blogs. I have so many reasons why I wish to be a full-time RVer. First, I just have the travel bug and would like some adventure. Secondly, it seems a very good way to live a simple life. Also, I have made alot of friends on Facebook who have Sarcoidosis too and I would like to "Connect the Dots" and meet them. While I am out on the road, I plan to raise awareness about Sarcoidosis and possibly do some fund-raising for research. There are so many other reasons and I will probably talk about these at a later date. Hubby is not as sold out on RVing as I am, but he is considering it. Daughter Alexis is ready to go!
I have looked around at different models of RVs and have really decided (with Hubby) that we would probably be best suited for a Class C model, like the one in the picture. These Class C models are very expensive when purchased new, however, we will be purchasing a used model. There are two reasons, as we see it, for purchasing used. First of course, is the low price. We will be living a simple life, and that includes being frugal. The second reason is that a used model will have already done a lot of outgasing of the dangerous chemicals. As a person with Sarcoidosis, I am like a canary in a chemical enviorment, and that is not good for me! Think about that new car smell as a load of toxic chemicals. Besides, Class C models are just so darn cute! :)
